I am Christophe Gratessolle, developer and teacher from Belgium. I graduated in
2016 as an industrial engineer with magna cum laude (84 %) and I started
teaching that same year.
With the collaboration from multiple schools we
created a couple of interactive digital platforms that are still widely used
across schools.
Modern and mobile-ready website that will help you reach all of your marketing.
Helping you to decide the best strategy to build your project.

Knowledge is the strength of our organization. That is why, based on our own technological roadmap, we invest in training and knowledge assurance. This way, we create an environment where people can be deployed in their strength and where there is room for personal development.
Radipo specializes in the sale and installation of all products from the German quality brand Hörmann, including sectional doors, up-and-over doors, automations and universal doors. We also install aluminum windows and doors. We also have the ability to quickly and efficiently paint or repaint our gates and doors, in all possible colors.
My-student-id is a learning management system that is provided with a large course module. With this module, teachers can create digital courses with interactive elements, automatic improvement, curriculum integration, reading software, automatic feedback, personalized learning path and much more. The built-in library makes it easy for teachers to share teaching materials. It is also possible to start from already developed material and then expand it with your own material. With the analytics, a teacher can immediately see which goals have been achieved, how long the student has been exercising and where the student is in the course.
With the “care module” we can map out the initial situation of a class group and student. At a glance it is possible to see which students in your class have dyslexia, for example, and which measures these students need.
Through a link with a system calendar, our entire PDCA circle is completed.
The biggest advantage of our platform is that we listen to the schools and can develop custom tools to meet everyone's needs.
Nextbook is an online learning platform for higher education. It transforms courses and textbooks into advanced learning tools with easy-to-use, interactive features (notes and marks). Nextbook also stimulates learning together. Students can clarify course content to each other via an integrated live chat. In addition, Nextbook automatically creates a personalized summary for each student, based on his / her learning behavior on the platform.
Hundreds of new students are enrolled at our school every year. Previously the students had to come to school to fill out all the information, we chose to update our enrollment form so that people can pre-register from home.
The data is then stored in a database. When the student then come to school to confirm their enrollment, this takes much less time for the teachers and students.
This registration form was made for 90% by Jasper Vandeweyer. For this project I only programmed a graphical aspect. By adapting the form graphically, the persons have a much more pleasant experience.
After the stem-id, we decided at our school to also create a zorg-id (care-id). Through this zorg-id, teachers can quickly see the background situation of the students. It is true that there are more and more students who need extra measures to achieve a tailor-made learning process.
In the zorg-id, teachers, care counselors, coordinators,… can add measures to students. Using a very extensive database with different starting situations (ADHD, dyslexia, ...), goals, measures, ... they can easily add this information to a student.
In March 2019, a colleague of mine asked if I could develop an Excel file that made it possible to give grades to his students very easily.
To help him I chose not to make this in Excel, but in a web environment. Carlo can register on the website and add new evaluations. He is immediately shown an overview of all grades of the students. He can then easily print these evaluations for the students so that they can quickly obtain a clear report with tailor-made feedback for the students.
During the football training sessions, I spoke to a friend who works at Aqualife. He told me about a problem that they had in their company. He had to enter every quotation from the customer manually, which was very time consuming. This quotation was submitted on the basis of a extensive Excel file. Customers could fill in this Excel file themselves in order to obtain a quotation. To make this experience enjoyable, we decided to put this Excel file into a web application.
I chose to realize this project for him because it allowed me to further develop my javascript and php skills.
The user is guided through the process through 14 different steps. At the end of these steps, the customer is shown an overview of his dream aquarium. This graphic process makes it a pleasant experience for the customer to put together his or her dream aquarium.
Once his aquarium has been put together, the customer can choose to order his aquarium immediately. When ordering, the customer is asked to pay 30% of the purchase price online.
Because Aqualife sometimes carries out promotions, they must be able to adjust the prices themself. Thanks to a self-made CMS, Aqualife can adjust the prices and add extra content (texts, promotions, images, etc.). This CMS also gives them an overview of all quotations that have been created. In this way they can easily help customers with any problems.
The next website that was realized is my sister-in-law's. She is a freelance photographer and has several beautiful projects to her name. The website had to be as minimalistic as possible. Because she has no experience with programming, a special page had to be provided where she only has to add the photos together with a description. These then automatically appear on the website. We could have realized this with WordPress or Joomla, but it was written entirely by ourselves with PHP.
One of my best friends has several 3d printers that he uses every day. We have developed a website to map all his projects.
The Stem-id is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious projects of the first nine months. This project was started from POV (Provincial Education Flanders), Provil and Pito. The purpose of this website is to make students aware of what they like. Becoming aware of this will facilitate future study choices.
During the stem lessons, the students work on different projects. Each project consists of some aspects of stem. S students have to solve questions about the project on this website. Once the questions are submitted, an algorithm calculates which aspect of stem corresponds the most with them. Students can then print their stem-id.
This id is not only useful for students, but also for all teachers. Using the stem-id, the teachers get a different picture of the student in question (how good do they score, what do they like, how much time de they need to spend). It facilitates study choice at the end of the school year. This id also promotes the quality of education. Because all students solve the questionnaires, we immediately get an idea of what needs to be changed in the project to improve the quality.
Teachers can make a questionnaire themselves via a CMS. They can choose which type of questions they want to add to the questionnaire (open question, closed question, multiple choice question, scale question, ...). This questionnaire is then completed by a student and stored in a database.
Once I mastered the basics of html, css, js, php, we decided to renew the website of our school. For this we used Joomla (similar to Wordpress). Using templates makes it easier to design a website. The website was developed in a new house style by Provil through a motivated team. The website was intended to be available from October 2018. Unfortunately, a few weeks before the launch, it was decided that all provincial schools should use the same template. An external company was appointed to do this.
I have been a Olympique Lyonnais supporter since my childhood. My family still lives in this French metropole. When I was thirteen, I started a Facebook page about this football club. Due to my studies and interest, I have transferred this page to some French friends. Currently this page is the largest fan page about Olympique Lyonnais with over 100,000 fans.
To celebrate the hundred thousand mark, we have decided to develop a website that shows all the latest news from this club. I developed this website in December 2017 and will be officially launched at the start of the 2018-2019 soccer season. In 2018, this website had 8 journalists and 3 photographers.
A self-written CMS (content manager system) made it possible for journalists and photographers to easily add content (articles, photos). This CMS makes it possible for journalists to easily write articles that meet all the needs of the internet.
The people who work on the website only have to enter the results and statistics of a match and this is automatically made an image which is then placed on the website.
In September 2017 I got the idea to teach myself how to program. Like most starting web developers, my first website was programmed using documentation that I found on the Internet. I quickly mastered the basics of html, css and javascript and it was time for me to develop a first website and put it online.
The resulting website was tcictas.com. The purpose of this site was to map my evolution for myself. The first pages that could be found on this were therefore also pages that allowed me to discover new programming languages (php, mysql, ...). For example, I started with a page to buy Bitcoins, a page for customs items and a page to convert units.
A few weeks later, however, this website was also used to offer my students teaching materials. Through this site students could find course material from mechanics, but also tutorials and exercises about Inventor. Currently, this site is regularly supplemented with new teaching materials.
